While they estimate that only 10% of the population is left handed, the number soars within our industry. I studied painting as well as design and once at PAFA the instructor asked how many left handed people were in the life studio that day. About 40% raised their hands.
4 of the 5 designers of the Mac were left handed. We're more likely to be geniuses and make 26% more than righties if we graduated college. They also say that we live 9 years shorter than righties and are 3 times as likely to be alcoholics. Many left handed people die in accidents related to their hanedness. Maybe that's what keeps our numbers so low.

I thought I'd put it out to you folks. Are you left or right handed? Which hand do you use to grab your coffee mug? Your opposite hand, your favored hand or both? I may offer left and right handed versions if it's worth the trouble.

But the idea is to have a call and response on each of them. I'll just have to figure it spends more time sitting there than being lifted, whatever shows will show.
I've spent 40 years explaining to people why I play guitar right handed. Which makes more sense, given my left hand has the dexterity for fingering. I think it's why right handed people give up stringed instruments. Thowing, batting, bowling, I do equally bad with both hands but have thrown strikes and hit dart bullseyes with both.

They must have been right handed. I remember as a kid seeing a documentary about DaVinci. He was sketching a thief publicly hanged in the square. While everyone cheered, Leonardo drew. Apalled that he would record it someone remarked "see, he's left handed. The hand of the devil." That's been my response often to "oh, you're left handed." Few get the joke.

Oddly enough, I tend to drink coffee holding the cup from the side without the handle, in the same orientation that a right handed person would hold it.

I can write with both because I've broken my hands, wrist and fingers on numerous different occasions from age 8-16. Only cursive on the right but who writes in cursive anymore? I was a gymnast and favored my right side so that was usually the side I fell on. Goofy snowboarding. I draw with right, hold and grab with both. Both sides are worth printing if you care to cater to everyone. It's also a good selling point when you write up the description when you sell it, probably.
