The one, the only, "Babylonian Hooker Tour"; spawned "Bedspring Symphony: Meat Whistle and Hot Box Lunch", arguably the best bootleg of that time. Marvellous - I was 16 and they were the soundtrack of my life... thanks for sharing.
- I can't imagine the impact the Stones had on teenagers in the 70's. I love their music today - but hearing Exile or Beggar's Banquet back when they were 1st released would have been awesome.nosaj
- Mad, crazy gypsies they were - I grew up in a town of 900 people; they were my ticket out...********

Recorded as an FU to their record company who demanded another single... instrumental for the last minute or so is great....

I grew up kind of disliking the rolling stones, they just seemed like caricatures or something, I was just never drawn to their sound. But last year my neighbor gave me Exile on Main Street and I've seen the light. That is really a great collection of songs...
Especially this one...- That wasn't even originally on there. That only saw the light of day on this year's reissue.CyBrainX

They should have broken up after Some Girls in 1978. They were one of the best bands ever, especially when Mick Taylor was with them. Since then, the quality went way down. It's understandable that younger or casual fans see them as caricatures. Check out Beggars Banquet, Let it Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main Street or Some Girls if you want to hear them at their best.

@CyBrainX - well said; despite all of the disparaging words that Mick Taylor has been subjected to, that era of the band was vastly superior to the line ups that followed.Class act, great blues guitarist, knew what to do and when. Cannot blame him for leaving (drugs, drugs and drugs), too bad the band suffered so much when he did.
- It is a shame where he is at now, career and personally, sad...********

I have no idea where Mick Taylor has been. The last I saw of him was a Letterman stint with Paul Shaffer about 10 years ago. I got to see it live in the Ed Sullivan theater.
