^ google doesn't give a shit about your descriptive copy.
also, should probably be able to click the box/div instead of JUST the title.

The work is quality, love it.
rson summarised my thoughts nicely.

Thanks guys, all valid points! Appreciate it. I will be adding more profile text - I'll be adding a bio and CV, I will also credit theme designer on that page too.
the theme/template I am using is imbalance: http://imbalance.wpshower.com/
I have made some adjustments to it already, and I can make it so all the thumbnails are same size. What I was most concerned about was the quality of my work. It's so hard to be objective.

I like your work sir.
Love the domain name.
Hate the template.

I always thought it was unintuitive on that template that only the title is clickable on rollover rather than the whole box...

Text on hover needs more contrast and you've got overflow issues as illustrated above. Also explain what it is a user is looking at. E.g. a tagline or a short description.

add some profile text - beyond your name

Yeah thats a template, i know exactly the one he used also. I would credit the designer of the template too, that's kind of bad form not to since you really havent altered the core template that much
- its a fucking template. unless the EULA says he has to give credit, he doesnt have to do shit.lol4lyfe

having all the work competing on one page isn't working for me. better to show one piece at a time so the user can focus. Either paginate or give good separation between pieces on a single long page.
descriptive text should be visible at all time with no mouse interaction required
work is nice, but the format feels a bit boring, is it a template? feels like one.
your textured wordmark styling seems out of place given the super-minimal interface.
