Probably everyone on QBN already is using Dropbox, but if anyone is thinking of signing up for an account could you message me so I could get some extra free space via referrals?
I apologize for the spammy request, but I won't use nor justify the cost for 50GB. They need a tier between 2GB and 50GB, IMHO.
Thanks,
N

If you use dropbox, read this...
- why would I sue for a free service?Projectile
- Not likely to happen but... you wouldn't want to take action if they used some of your work without permission?set

Can someone explain what Set's link is, if you opt out will you loose your account? or will it just stop certain new terms?

As an alternate: Open source file manager http://pyd.io/ + fatcow.com = unlimited dropbox like storage for almost nothing
Pyd.io has no database and takes 5 minutes to install and there are free apps for iphone and android and

This also links into what I was saying the other day though about Dropbox changing its terms due to "Governments using backdoors on users" as they put it.

I guess the question is, do you mind security agencies looking through your backuped up cloud files? personally I don't have anything of any worry on there, just work files and few photos of pets etc cos I'm cool like that.

^ I couldn't give a shit if anyone sees my files on dropbox either but it's not really the point.

dropbox is the best. it's expensive with limited shitty options. and a few months ago I tried all the other services that are cheaper- amz, google, etc. I settled on google but it fucked me over multiple times ( known serious sync issues) and went back to dropbox.
around the same time work got me adobe CC (100gb), I picked up a thunderbolt drive, and I decided to keep my big files on CC, smaller things on dropbox free and the occasional projects on my physical drive.
