- Mark Rylance stood out... creepy fuckerPonyBoy
- Movies that end like this (realistic, depressing, hopeless) generally don’t get wide distribution or win awards.nb

- Vladimir Putin networkimbecile
- the 'ban' targets registered accounts with a russian billing address. it's not a geoblock. vpn is used to avoid russian persecution.uan
- haha, I had to just think whether VPN actually stood for Vladimir Putin Network. DurrrIanbolton

- Fuck the stock market. It only gets hard for completely unsustainable exponential growth.bogue
- it forces companies into excess spending instead of balanced sustainable budgets.bogue
- Stockmarket is a the greatest pyramid scheme ever createdGnash
- That stock plunge is an overreaction. It's not like streaming hasn't become so much more competitive. The whole industry isn't losing customers.CyBrainX
- maybe the russia ban? how many subscriptions did they lose there?uan
- It's not like everyone around me is cancelling their subscriptions...must be something different.uan
- Maybe because their contents sucks?
Popular stuff they have, they don’t own.
Majority of original shows eat ass.futurefood - I think the market reacted because they were expecting slower subscriber growth but they actually reported a net loss of subscribers last quarterbogue
- but that's my point. Why isn't a company that has 220 million people paying 15 bucks a month in perpetuity not desirable to investors?bogue
- greed.bogue
- Idiots at Netflix encouraged password sharing for years...and now they are eating crow.utopian
- Stocks like this are a Ponzi scheme, so volatile... oh wait I was talking about bitcoin, yeah stocks are best place to park money.shapesalad

and I agree with @bogue 'cuz he said it like it isgrafician - I only keep my sub because A: kids, B: shared password with family. Take away B and Disney+ seems a better choice for the money.monNom

I watched the first season of this back in 2017 when it came out and loved it, but then got caught up in other shit and didn't watch the other seasons as they came out. Digging back in now, seasons 2, 3, and 4.1 are out and it's sucking me right back in.
