I like Firefox for the add-ons. Particularly the Web Developer add-on. If Chrome had that I would switch because it's fast and handles html5 stuff well. I remember having a lot of issues with Safari a couple of years ago, switched to Firefox and never looked back.
- I'm pretty sure there are equivalent extensions for Chrome, or using the built-in inspectorernexbcn

chrome is the best imo. Firefox 4 is good but still beta a loads of bugs but it might beat chrome when live.

I use FF for any type of development work [fire ftp and firebug], and chrome as my usual browser.

Used to prefer Safari, moved to Chrome but now have to use Firefox to access the Blackboard learning system at my school. For some reason it won't work properly on a Mac unless you use FF.

Seems a bit 50/50 at the moment. Chrome sometimes mucks up for me, where buttons/links don't work and I find myself switching back to Safari to get the site the work. That might of been a beta thing, so I'll carry on with Chrome and see if it has sorted itself out...
- silly questions get 50/50 responses - the differences are so neglibile I'd concentrate on what you are looking at insteadfadein11

Chrome is faster than any other i've used and doesnt fill your screen with any unnecessary bollocks. I have an issue with conflicting flash players as I somehow managed to load another player onto my chrome but apart from that it is perfect. Safari has always lagged, although it is prettier.

I was using Chrome until it started to freeze my iMac from work and my iMac from home, it seems doing fancy things with CSS3 or websockets triggers some nasty shit that completely freezes the display and the only way out is a cold reset pressing the power button.
That's why I jumped back to Safari, I tried all the different channels of Chrome as was getting the same bug and got fed of it. I might try again in a few months and see if it still happens.
I tried Firefox 4 RC1 yesterday and it keeps getting better and better, super smooth scrolling on pages that choke on Safari 5.0.4, but I found the same smoothness on the new Safari with Webkit 2 on OS X Lion, so it's coming.

I'd say Chrome. Super quick, super-easy.

Safari, the UI is better.

I'd say Chrome, partly because its slightly faster and partly because the Safari UI has a few quirks that I find annoying.

Mostly Chrome because of the built in sync, use both PC and Mac.
