Why should designers be any different from other people. In real life I'm fucking sick of the pleasantries. Sucking up to bosses, fake customer service, Christmas dinner, facebook friends. Anonymity may breed a few assholes but at least they are honest, funny assholes.

I think alot of the "free speech with attitude" we have here is due to cube-job caged-animal feelings coupled with the design industry situation where you can't really criticise crazy account managers or clients to their face... so you go a bit stir crazy sometimes... have to blow off steam amongst your OWN tribe of design-folk....
