I just moved over to Win7 64bit and loving it.
this is my install.>> Everything. http://www.voidtools.com/
Locate files and folders by name instantly.
much better than the windows indexing, small file footprint and takes less system resources to index. I *love* this program!Server Environment:
>> localhost/ LAMP
XAMPP for 32bit - http://www.apachefriends.org/en/…WAMP for 64 bit (32bit XAMPP doesn't work well on 64 bit systems) so use WAMP: (Windows, Apache, mySQL, PHP) was a breeze to install. (and really only mySQL has a 64bit build) http://www.wampserver.com/en/ (FYI. default install does *not* set root passwords. make sure to lock that shit up)
AntiVir
>> Microsoft Security Essentials
http://www.microsoft.com/securit…Firewall
>> ZoneAlarm
http://www.zonealarm.com/securit…
i find it the best and easiest to use. (program control access for self moderated program access and ability to create ip zones for local networks)File Transfer Protocol
>> Filezilla FTP : http://filezilla-project.org/ i tried smartFTP for 64bit.. garbageCode Editor
>> PSPad http://www.pspad.com/

Id like to add a few more to my list.
hard drive management
>> PerfectDisk. http://www.raxco.com/products/ho…
simply the best disk defrag software out there.I've scheduled my defrags to happen in the wee hours in the mornings. My machines still have the disk speed that i'd expect of them. If you keep your disk drives defragged proactively, you'll maintain the read speed that multi tera storage is requiring. ..Bit Torrent
>> µTorrent - http://www.utorrent.com/
Small file size, customizable download folders and integrable antivir.and dont forget about all the useful tools Adobe Air has spawned.
