great for everyday computer usage, not for production-level work.

The batteries go dead every other day...

↑↑↑ it has batteries?!!! No wonder...
hahaha
Looks like I have to buy a rechargables for replacement if I plan to use this more.- buy 2 sets. It chews through batteries like no other electronic device I've ever had.adev

It's designed to work in either hand. And it's really easy to wipe clean!
Perfect for COTD thread.

i got mine with my imac in october and since then i've had to replace the battery 3 times even though i turn it off every time i turn off the computer.
i tried going back to mighty mouse but the cable is too short and i can't plug it in to the keyboard since the keyboard is wireless.
so i bought a logitech mouse.

I still have a mouse but I only use Intuos. It took a while to get used to, but there's no coming back now. Also good if you're concerned with carpal tunnel...

Had the Intuos 4, thought I had an issue with the tracking not working properly, then I got the Bamboo. Finally figured out that tablets don't work correctly with dual monitors because of proportions of the tablet to the wider monitor resolution.
Does anyone know of a solution for this? (i.e. some kind of software that fixes this problem). I figure someone else has got to run into the same issue...
- Get two wacoms :)must_dash
- I remember having an option at one point to map the wacom to a portion of the screen. Can't find it, now...********
- Yeah you can remap it, or you can set a hotkey to switch monitors. Install the drivers if you don't have those options in prefsDoTheMacarena

Probably the best mouse I've used so far, super comfortable, precise and highly customizable, here we use it with design and audio software. If the batteries don't last at least a month and a half using it every day, you need to get new batteries (I'm talking rechargeable ones of course).
While I can't compare it with the wacom pads out there, if you feel like your current logitech mouse feels clunky, cheap constructed or is just too uncomfortable for professional use, you should give this mouse a try
- "precise"
mate I don't believe you use it in any adobe software, it is a fuckn shaky mouseGeorgesII - yes, and also sound design software too, its great!
give it a chance manMiguex - I agreenawdansion

magic mouse is nice...I use it at home...the battery thing does ,suck...I had to get rechargeables and always have a set charging up.
- dbloc0
the worst part is when the batteries die, it makes you feel like your computer locked up. A bit of a scare every time it happens.
- randommail0
Why doesn't it have a mini-USB port so you could recharge/use it.
Like a PS3 controller.Same thing goes for the wireless keyboard.

I quite like the Magic Mouse. My only complaint is having to change the batteries every so often, but otherwise, its great - even for doing design work.
