I like it. Although if you have a plasma monitor the screensaver is going to burn the fuck out of it. Hence a screen destroyer.

thanks for all the positive responses guys. i'm so glad you're enjoying it. i'm fairly sure it could be quite easily transferred into a js build. it just so happens that flash is where my scripting knowledge lies so it was just the tool to bring the idea to life.

well done, love it!

Nice work jabblon. Thanks!

i have to say i just added this site as a homepage tab.. see if i can get more done if i'm constantly reminded of the time in a cool way ;) ... but have to agree with randommail tho, the hairline frame makes me always wonder if my browser window is fullscreen or not, i could do without that
thumbs up anyway!

Can you build one using HTML5?
- quist0
Woah, this is cool.

Props to jabblon! I love it when designers strive to improve our everyday lives in the smallest details.
I don't suppose you'd be able to make it an option to turn on/off the hairline frame and surrounding text?
Nice work!

Nice, this should be easy to do in in html/js.

Love it!
PC version? Easy, just make the colours look a bit shitty.

PC PLZ!
- jabblon0
is it banding due to a pull on processing?
- Hombre_Lobo0
very nice! love the presentation.
be careful with those banding issues though.

Nifty

^^ Ahh fair enough, I managed to miss that bit! I was a bit fixated on the whole colour=time thingy :)
Still nice work though, and it has been downloaded!
- jabblon0
@rascuache i see. from the looks of it they don't seem to be using the same method to generate a colour though. mine is very literal, the numbers that make up the time are transposed into the range of a hex.
- rascuache0
Nice idea, but unfortunately somebody already had it :(

I really like this.
