thanks for all the positive responses guys. i'm so glad you're enjoying it. i'm fairly sure it could be quite easily transferred into a js build. it just so happens that flash is where my scripting knowledge lies so it was just the tool to bring the idea to life.

I like it. Although if you have a plasma monitor the screensaver is going to burn the fuck out of it. Hence a screen destroyer.

Love it!
PC version? Easy, just make the colours look a bit shitty.

Nice, this should be easy to do in in html/js.

very nice! love the presentation.
be careful with those banding issues though.

@rascuache i see. from the looks of it they don't seem to be using the same method to generate a colour though. mine is very literal, the numbers that make up the time are transposed into the range of a hex.

Props to jabblon! I love it when designers strive to improve our everyday lives in the smallest details.
I don't suppose you'd be able to make it an option to turn on/off the hairline frame and surrounding text?
Nice work!

Woah, this is cool.

^^ Ahh fair enough, I managed to miss that bit! I was a bit fixated on the whole colour=time thingy :)
Still nice work though, and it has been downloaded!

Can you build one using HTML5?
