  Sorry guys, not an rss feed, I'm looking to feed the actual blog feed/excerpt onto the homepage of another external site.

  Im sure its stupidly simple... but I can't get it.

  A bad example here, but see on this site how the news feed is fed through to the homepage of the blog with a read more link for each article.

  I'm basically looking for this kind of excerpt of a blog/news feed, but instead of feeding to the index page of the wordpress site i need to feed it to another website homepage...

  Is the orginating site yours?

  If so, you could just create a simplified body-content version of the WP output, then include that page as an insert in the destination page?
