As soon as they're cut down, they are replanted. Are they ever really gone?

Hey, my son & I got an 8ft tree at Lowes yesterday. It looks beautiful lit up in white and red LED lights. I call the theme this year Disco Inferno.
* These trees will be here long after we all will so shut up, live and let live... Or be more proactive and stop them from cutting the trees down in the first place.

a farm grown and cut real tree is far better for the environment than a fake tree.
better if its not trucked 100's of miles to your local Home Depot, but still much less carbon footprint than a made in china plastic tree.

Fuck there are some miserable cocks in here.

So it's bad that people plant trees for the purpose of cutting for Christmas? Trees that would never have been living otherwise, and contribute oxygen and provide co2 removal for the years they grow? Trees that many municipalities collect and recycle into things like mulch? What an absolute horror!

Ahh, you can't beat the smell of a real christmas tree. Going to get one today.

I am still laughing at the side note that electricity is easily replaceable compared to a tree. Last time I checked, trees are renewable, coal is not. Burning the coal pollutes and it still accounts for 50% of the US power generation.
