I was always told never use a gradient in a logo because it may not show up on some substrates. am I wrong?
This could be a great attempt at a viral ad campaign.
If this is just an attempt by CRAP to get people talking about their "brand" its working so great job!

This talk about how change can be good.... is correct... when the change is actually... good.
In this case, the only change that needs to happen is for the Gap to change their underwear because they just left behind a big long brown smear stain of a logo.

It is a viral campaign. When they pick the new crowdsourced logo, everyone who was so outraged at first, will feel they were part of the effort. Consumers will save the brand. Talk about engaging.

Their whole business model is changing, too. They no longer want to be looked at as a "place to find jeans," but a place to shop for both jeans and something that you could wear to work. Where you could buy clothes for a lazy sunday or a business casual work environment, thus their new line of womens and mens dress pants.
- um, pretty sure that's been their model fro quite a while – you just realized it.NONEIS

- f*uck it, the meeting with the executive team is in 15 minutes, send it to print!
- But boss! I need to remove that square from one of the previous comps!
- No time! (hits print button)

What a load of bollox.

Change good? Sure why not...the problem is that it looks like shit.
Which matters more for a clothing label than some other company. No one wants to be seen wearing the brand with the shit logo.
