Anyone tried this or has this? Is it worth the price?

I wish it had a touch screen so you can use a finger to pan and pinch zoom while still using the pen to actually draw and do stuff in photoshop.

A tattoo artist I know uses one and does amazing work on it... If you've got the cash and the talent, I say do it.

great video demo for it. I want one now!

eh, i don't think so... i used one for a good little while... it's definitely nice, no doubt, but there's a tiny bit of delay which is really annoying. i prefer my normal pad.

I have the 21UX and it rules. Straight up. I used to do a lot of character design work, and as long as you have a strong processor and maxed out RAM, it keeps up. As always, the faster the machine, the better the performance. They say it can work on G5s even, but I wouldn't do that. Now I use it for a lot of my retouching work (running off of a 2010 MBP) as well as my general concept work, and it's solid.
I would definitely recommend using Alias Sketchbook Pro or Corel Painter before Photoshop, if you can. P-shop handles fine, most of the time, but it occasionally has a lag when working on huge files.
The customizable buttons on the side make all of that panning, zooming and scrolling very fast and easy. It quickly becomes second nature. They also have a setting where you can attach it to a second monitor and toggle from one to the other.
If you're more into storyboarding or something more in the rough-sketch area, try the 12" version. I have some friends who have that and they love it. They take it with them to coffee houses or gardens and do plein-air painting. Great stuff.
I swear by it. It's paid for itself a dozen times over.

^ have you noticed any scratches or marring of the screen finish over time?
- luckyorphan0
^^ Ah, good question.
I've been fortunate enough to not have any scratches over time, but that is largely because I was warned about this from a friend who uses one at work. He had a heavy hand and just chewed into it. Eventually he had to get the surface replaced.
I got around it by using the SmudgeGuard glove. http://www.smudgeguard.com/
It looks weird and feels odd at first, but you get used to it, and it works. Of course, you can create your own with a soft felt glove, but I tried that, and the pro glove is better.
With regards to scratches from the stylus, that hasn't happened to me yet, but I calibrated it so I can have a pretty light touch on the screen—probably because I'm overly concerned about it in the first place.

And other great news.... it looks like Wacom dropped the horrible icon they were using (but not the favicon). Thank god.
Actually it's still pops up throughout the site in places. Damn it.

Anyone use the 22hd? Is there much of a glass gap of the stylus tip and cursor?
