I'm hesitant to say I quite like them. Work a lot better in motion than static though.

The xbox and bing ones are quite nice, the bing one is definitely better than its actual logo. Not wild on the other ones, but 2 out of five on design is pretty good for MS.

I'm not going to outright say I dislike them, but I find them insubstantial. They're all really thin and kind of paper-clippy.

There's another thing I don't like about these, particularly the two Windows logos; I don't see a window, anymore, I see flags.
- well it could be an open window...********
- also, it could be a window that looks like a flag.********

I don't like the Xbox one. Are they suggesting that will replace the Xbox identity?

They look v nice in motion.
Non-motion i think it will look better without the shadow, which i assume will be the case.
Dont like the xbox one.

I had not before noticed how similar the office logo is to the apple command key.
- If you look at the evolution of Office logo, it makes sense.********
- Thats like an insult because the command key is in such a better position than windows ctrl keyPIZZA
- MS didnt design the computer keyboards********
- They put a windows key on them in the best place, rendering it uselessPIZZA
- i would disagree. the apple key is in a spastic place.mydo

When the Macintosh was introduced in 1984, the keyboard had a single command key with a Saint John's Arms (also called a four leaf clover) symbol (⌘, U+2318), because Steve Jobs said that showing the Apple logo throughout the menus as a keyboard shortcut was "taking [it] in vain."[1] Thus, the ⌘ appears in the Macintosh menus as the primary modifier key symbol.

Microsoft Office was introduced by Microsoft in 1989 for Macintosh,[2] with a version for Windows in 1990

Update 2: We've just been contacted by Microsoft and told that these are not new logos which will be used on products, rather a standalone treatment to show the flexibility of joined brands. However, the "Be What's Next" tagline is real, and will be showing up here and there.

Decidedly more "fun" than one thinks of Microsoft as being.
Which isn't a bad thing.Too bad they're not real.

"Microsoft and told that these are not new logos which will be used on products, rather a standalone treatment to show the flexibility of joined brands"
Pretty much shows how inbred and confused MS has become, why would anyone in their right mind start fucking around and confusing their brands for no real reason or benefit.
- they probably paid $$$$ to a brand consulting company too.... lots of meetings, this result...vaxorcist
