I've seen it framed and in a shop over the road with a frame and 'certificate of authenticity'.
It's a good poster.
Is it a good price?
Is it a good investment?

what's teh certificate of authenticity say? authentically only one of 2000 we printed this time round?
investment, i'd guess not.
good poster, that's up to the individual. if you dig it then yes.
is it a good price, who fucking knows. try google sellers and see. seems on the high-side to me but it might be a great print and top frame. again, if it's not too expensive for you then it's fine.

isn't a print a print. whether it's from the 60's or a reprint now it's still a print yeah? are the newer prints from his studio still? if so then fuck it, go the new one. if it were even close to being something you could class as an investment then it would be worth a lot more now. 40+ years on and it's not really worth a great deal. it'll either grow in value slower than a savings account interest rate or in 5 years will be worth 10.3 million dollars.
- not really, like saying a signed print from an original print run has the same value as a reprint 50 years later...ckentish

a £195 kerning lesson from a typographer is an investment for yourself, while the poster is not

Buy it if you like it. But an investment, who the fuck knows, I'm still waiting for my original GIJoe toys to become collectors items.
