So say I have like 6 12oz bottles on a Friday night, then 6 again on sat, then again on monday, is that very unhealthy?
Sometimes ill only do 2 days week, other weeks its 3 days, but I never drink more than 3 days a week.

I've known people to drink more with no apparent problems, and live into their 70s. Depends on your body I guess. Don't forget to drink some water once in a while.

The body can burn up so many calories. So drink only what you can burn. Water helps to burn fat and steer clear of dehydration.

I think over this weekend I've accumulated roughly 20 hours of being completely fucked up, with maybe 5 more hours of being buzzed before or after. I'm done for at least a month

i go on a beer diet from friday to sunday

it's not too much unless it interferes with one or more of the following:
• your health
• your safety
• your appearance
• your work
• your interpersonal relationships

I've seen it go both ways...
although I will say that now that i'm getting into my late twenties alcohol catches up with me way more than it ever did when I was (slightly) younger. It seems if i binge drink on a weekend then I definitely feel a little more doughy around the midsection.I've also noticed that cutting back on alcohol - from 2 or 3 six-packs a week to 1 or 2 drinks a week - has had a profound effect on my wasteline and overall energy levels.
I think nuggler is right. It probably depends on a lot of variables. In the short term you're probably ok, outside of a few hangovers, but in the long term drinking a case a week is probably going to catch upto ya.

If you have to ask a question like this you probably already know it's time to chill out. Very unhealthy is all relative.
If you're really hung over monday, maybe find something active to do next weekend instead of partying.

6 bottles a night on the weekend isn't much. It's not like it's great for you but the vast majority of English students drink more than that in a night more frequently and most turn out fine.
My simple way of judging if I'm killing it a bit much is if I get a hangover. 7 pints of lager/cider is around about my 'start to get a hangover the next day' limit, and I don't drink often, and have a small frame. I think you're fine.

It really doesnt effect me at all. Im in decent shape, not all ripped up but im at the right weight for my height, I run and lift weights, eat well, drink a lot of water. It doesnt effect anyone around me, Im not cranky, dont turn into an a-hole when I drink.
Im 34 now, didnt really start drinking regularly until a couple years ago. Didnt drink hardly at all in my 20s outside of a party here and there.
Im not that worried about it, but I really wasnt sure if 12-18 beers a week is excessive.

Lol, I just stumbled on an alchoholic site, some dude on there drank 40 beers a day for years. Fucking A man, Im going to the liquor store.

I drank like this in my 20's with no problems. Now I'm in my 30's and I've realized:
A) I don't really know any of my friends unless I'm drunk.
B) I drink WAY more than any of my co-workers without batting an eyelash. I get worried looks from them.
C) I get WAY hung over now.
D) I don't really know what to do in social situations that don't involve drinking.Drinking a lot might not affect your health, but it also develops bad interpersonal habits.

- I had exactly this, Canonnball. All gone now, plus I didn't have to give up drinking....Eighty

by my calculations, that's 3.7 UK pints. That's not a lot by any means. Does that get you drunk? And if so, you're drinking too quickly.
I would say drinking less than 4 pints on a friday and saturday night would be considered socially impaired.
If you're not drinking and socializing at the weekend i would be more worried.
writing this with a hangover on a tuesday morning.. my advice is probably not valid.

i set a new record for myself last week :
monday thru to sat night and then a come down session in the park on sunday.
heavily drinking everynight, with a sat night climax resulting in me falling off my bike into a whole bunch of parked bikes.
sunday night and monday was hard, but ran it off and all good.

Pancreatic cancer, kidney problems and obviously liver issues can arise. I know someone that is 40 and she has pancreatic cancer from drinking and she did it moderately.
