Everytime I see the name of that volcano, I think its just keyboard smash. Some terrific landscapes work here.

seriously and no offense, since I'm sure it's pretty hard to get there and all, but has anyone EVER seen a bad pic of the Iceland wild??? even just a webcam shot looks cool...

and about 400.000 photos, just as good or better will show.Eyjafjallajökull is the glacier btw. the volcano's name is only Eyjafjall. Most media just haven't bothered checked up on it, before they made a fool of them self trying to twist it out of their mouth.
- wait!? ftw!!! are you saying even blind person could take a good picture in Iceland??!robotron3k

Yes there are lots of photos of iceland on flickr, thanks for pointing that out designerror.
However, I thought this was relevant because:
1) He was there only a week before the volcano Eyjafjall(ajökull) erupted. Perhaps the last photos of the landscape as it was.
2) He's a designer that runs in the same circles as many of us on QBN.- you should know that KDU is largely viewed with contempt here. i do not know whyflashbender

Sorry, but the landscape will be back to normal next year, just little ash spread across the place the size of Manhattan.
Volcanos have been on and off up here for 500 million years, no big deal with Eyjafjalla, it's hardly a fart compared to what could have gone off.
It's made a big deal, because the media and every Joe and his mother is Twittering about how they know someone who somehow got affected by it.
- Just a little ash on an island? All European flights were canceled for a week. It was a major impact.monospaced
- Billions of dollars were lost...it had nothing to do with media hype and Twitter. Where were you?monospaced
- Iceland mono, and I'm just talking the impact of the volcano on Iceland, not the rest of the worlddesignerror

I did not twitter about it.
