All Porsches suck except the 944. Untill hipsters latch onto that one, then the Carrera rules once more.

expensive either way
old parts are hard to come by
new parts are expensive to replace or maintaincall around and get quotes for things like brakes, valves, steering and get both labor and parts
i also believe your insurance is examined differently depending on the class of sports car it is to your insurance

may sound like a given, but if you buy used, get a warranty. those certified pre-owned deals are usually very good and can sometimes cover the most minor repairs!
