Just back from cinema, it was good + bad but more good and better than Weeks but not as good as days, it was a steady 7.5/10 - laugh out loud bits, good jumps and some REALLY annoying & un-necessary music in places, but hey, worth the trip.

The Sweet Hereafter (1997). The trailer is exhaustingly 90s, but the movie is gut-wrenching.

Caught a preview last night. A great premise, genuinely funny and which the two leads clearly enjoyed. A couple of minor muddles in the last third but it all builds nicely. I guess some will say it's slow to start, but setting up the couple's dysfunction is key to why it works. Suitably squishy, but not Substance-level! Definitely worth checking out.
