Make it a day of rebellion against politics or branding... power to the little guy. Thinking along the lines of anti-design or Tibor Kalman sort of work.
Write it upside down. Cross it out. Spell it backwards. Leave out letters.
Make it a "Robin Hood" holiday of giving to the poor.
Make it a drinking holiday and wear pink.

It is anti-brand.
