Was in town visiting the family this weekend and only made it downtown for a bit to grab a couple coney's at Lafayette. I love Detroit... and it's as shitty as it ever was.

^^ weird I did the same exact thing this weekend, only I got my window broken out while I was in Lafayette, things I do not miss about living in Detroit.

Just saw the movie. Very interesting and explains a lot of how it turned to shit, but didn't mention the years of crooked-ass politicians in office.

Mudgies Deli (best damned sammiches in the city)

Catch a wings game at Joe Louis Arena or a Tigers game at Comerica.Oh and.. Fuck the people mover. Only get on that POS if you have to. Should probably have your mode of transportation squared away as well (ie: rental or friend). The bus system is fucking absurd and the people mover is a joke.
