It's way more fun make light of this shit...
Because the reality, if any of it is true is way too frightening for most of us to comprehend. And make the reality of our lives futile.I personally believe smoke without fire... Well we all the end to that saying.
As a black man i have already felt the effects, what goes on behind them doors of power.

ignorance is bliss I say!
Im going to spend my days under the "thumb of power" doing what I love to do for a living, going out for the occasional steak dinner and drinks only to come home to the woman of my dreams where we'll make love, buy a house, get a dog, explore our own talents/creativity/passions, have children watch them grow up as we grow old together and then eventually die having led a satisfying, full life of love, compassion and joy...
Yeah... Damn Illuminati...

I'm very surprised at the adverse responses to the mention of conspiracy theories.
the very phrase 'conspiracy theory' pisses me off because of all the negative connotations that it comes with. 'Speculative theory' would be a more appropriate term.
The media itself, particularly American media, makes fun of the idea of conspiracy theorists and architect a world of insanity, shame and embarrassment around them. You could say they do this to make it easier for conspiracies to take place and go unquestioned.
An in terms of calling conspiracy theorists idiots and nutters is kinda contradictory in itself. whats more stupid believing everything you see on the news and absorbing everything the man in power is telling you, or question the world around you?
Also to not believe any conspiracies take place or to not believe that a country could harm its own people for the gain of the country would be ignorant, any historian/war historian will tell you that.
Ignorance is bliss i agree, and identity above has it right, what can you do about it? Live your life, enjoy it, be happy, but try not to eat up everything you see or hear as fact.

Conspiracy theorists actually have a pretty poor record. Where's the Amero? North American Union? I thought the global elites were determined to push that plan, what's taking them so long? When are the black helicopters from the U.N. coming to take over America?
What about FEMA death camps? Oh, and I thought the swine flu vaccine was a secret plot to kill all of us. How come Orly Taitz didn't win the court case over Obama's Kenyan birth certificate? How come the alien technology we're developing at Area 51 never got built? Where's the Loch Ness monster/ Bigfoot/ Elvis FFS?
All silly theories that never had a shred of fact behind them beyond talk show hosts who wanted to sell some purified drinking water and New World Order T shirts. Yeah sure, the government and big businesses have pulled some shit in their time. That doesn't suddenly validate every hair-brained idea out there.
- obvioulsy you've been reading the scifi network versions of these real issueseieio
- How does just mentioning the Amero or NAU make it a "scifi version"ukit
- the poularised dumbed down versions, there's reality to all these but you're just lumping them together and trivialising the detailseieio
- LOL - all I did was mention the names. Maybe you can tell me when the Amero is coming then.ukit
- you don't get it do youeieio
- The Amero? No. Can you send some to me? I want to be ready.ukit

A good conspiracy theory I heard recently built upon the 'moon landing was staged' theory. Now we all know that one, right? Right.
This, however, claimed that the televised landing, launch, press, the whole enchilada was staged and produced by none other than Stanley Kubrick. There's a show on this, you can prolly YT it.
Apparently, Nixon saw "2001" multiple times. And in a major move in the cold war pushed the moon launch even harder. Nasa couldn't really do it on time. So with the realism of the special effects (at the time) in "2001," they brought in Stanley.
At least that's the story.- he just directed parts of it, like filmmaker consultant. it was produced by the govement and nasaeieio
- ....so it goeseieio
- Ah. Thanks for clearing that up, lol.harlequino
- 2001 was based on true events.dopepope
- And they got Doc Emmet Brown to help with the deadline.shitehawke
- The alien landing will be directed by James Cameronukit

^ Harlequino, that particular conspiracy has been around for a long while and has many facets to it. One being that Kubrick shot one of his films (I forget which one) on a specially devised super fast lens that was designed and built for Nasa. His wife has come very close at times to admitting he played some part in the media presentation of the moon landing, although she has never outright claimed the whole thing was a hoax.
I think the conspiracy exists in a gap between what actually happened, and the paucity of good quality, media friendly data available to the Nixon Administration in 'proving' the moon landing and therefore winning the space race.
- Ah yes, I remember the lens thing, now. I would tend to agree with you. There's some truth in the cracks of the stories.harlequino
- Kubrick bought the f/0.7 lens for Barry Lyndon candlelit scenes. It cost a shit load. Stop talking shitegjd
