Can you give some background info. What is the purpose of this logo, what industry is it for.
- Shaker0
yes, sorry, good point. it is a personal logo. making new business cards for myself.
- SoulFly0
ahh.
Pretty cool.

the J and the B look the best... I'm not digging the lower case letters, specially the K.
But thats being SUPER picky, I think it looks nice overall.
- dragonfruit0
Maybe integrate the J & B into one single shape?
- waterhouse0
^ Don't do that.
- ismith0
I reallly like the top half of that B... the lowercase letters do seem to throw it off a bit, but overall I think it's quite nice.

I like the original.
Looks great to me - lower case letters could look better but their not bad...
- typist0
- so you just pick a font and type j.baker? that's it?typist
- tell that to all the brands that use Helvetica.neverblink
- Please see Target, Crate & Barrel, Evian, Kawasaki, MetLife, Greyhound, JCPenney, etc.luckyorphan

I don't know what you are trying to communicate.
It looks like it could be a brand of Saville Row shirtmakers.
- u could say that about 75% of logos, when it's not shown in context...dirtydesign
- are you saying context is meaningless? I am asking for context, that's kind of necessary for a crit surelyraskolnikov
- yes, where the fuck is context. or see next page.janne76

Not trying to be mean, or too negative, but I think the typeset looks rather terrible. I think it's primarily due to leading, although the weight of the typeface also seems weak. Therefore, a heavier weight font, and tighter leading may help.
- there is no leading here.Shaker
- leading = space between characters....
Therefore, leading ALWAYS exists.******** - Leading = space between lines. You are talking about kerning sir.non
- ... errrr... I meant KERNING. Sorry, I haven't yet smoked my morning joint.********
- Wow, I'm sure that'll help.non
- Always does. :-)********
- LOL at confusing leading and kerning. NICE.duckofrubber
- dipshit, lol.Mojo

Alright, definitely good comments, thank you. I am using this on my resume/business cards, etc. I wanted a simple type treatment, nothing too obvious/over the top. What else would it need?
- non0
If you put it in context, it would give us a better idea (i.e. applied on a business card).
- version30
that's your name alright.
- dbloc0
move the curl from the b to the j
- ukit0
Or just change your name to B. Jaker
