i actually like it as a beginning process
- make easier to read (anti-alias, spacing?)
- customize the font more for unique look
- better use of the intended gel look

My two cents:
Start over, including the name
- inkpink0
u guys are kinda being arrogant designer pricks... it is a paintball company after all, those yo-joe's lap-up the outlined extreme techno fonts.
- "arrogant designer pricks" yes i know its QBN and to be expected.inkpink
- its not necessarily the font i have an issue with, it's the hurricane "d" and more importantly, the name.Antonelli
- other than that, generally i am a designer prick.Antonelli

Let's crowdsource this bitch!
- dyspl0
@inkpink, I'm certainly an arrogant prick, but the whole point is IMO, by using a freefont, without much work on it, how do you make your work valuable?
What makes your work better than any nephew is a photoshop copy if you act exactly like him?
This will only lead people think crowdsourcing is "not that bad after all".
- <no hate here. only think whatever the client's business, it deserves a personnal approach.dyspl
- oh i dunno had the topic dogeared above my post... was reacting to "start over" commentsinkpink
- and i don't think the concept was simply a stock dafont choice. it just so happens to be a dated look.inkpink
- ... so everyone is having a laughinkpink
- didn't see the notes inkpink :)
have to say this font is quite nice, but I'm dated myselfdyspl

@dyspl, so if you give say, leonardo da vinci and my nephew stanley a box of crayolas, some construction paper, and they both make strokes with various colors to and fro, they are worth the same thing? I can't say i agree with your police skills.
- let's compare both of their works over a body of timeversion3
- or their metrics to one anotherversion3
- da vinci won't do shit because he's been dead for centuries.johndiggity

so like... what is this free fonts name? i want in on the fun
- formula0
Straight outta the 90s...
- dyspl0
@wrong, I don't think you get my point.
I meant by using this font without much modification, there are many chance that you come up with a not so noticable logo.I just typed the font name in google and ffffound :
It's not about anyone skills, but about working with sources wich are not that great and so common that it will make your work hard to stand out.
again I'm not hating irrelevant work, i'm just saying doing a futuristic/sqary custom font is not that hard or long and that way you are sure you do something unique, which is what we are paid for IMHO.
- holy gee willaker wowversion3
- name that fuckin font!version3
