Showed my 7yr old son the original just a couple weeks ago. He loved it so much he watched it 3 times in a couple days. Will Jason and the Argonauts be next?

you will always see a bunch of similar themed movies once one makes a lot of money. Like in the 80's when there was a ton of baseball themed movies after the success of The Natural. (that's the only example I can think of at this time). This steals 2 money making ideas, Gladiators and Remakes.
