Like G.I Joe it is part of my childhood. So whether it's good or bad I know i'm gonna enjoy it.

Ugh, you know - all the stills and production art I've seen so far looks great. This trailer with the feax-metal soundtrack, hyper cutting feel, and zero characterization just really puts me off. The story is an epic tale about gods and demons. It's not a football movie ffs.

i fondly remember the cheezy old one (although it was probably a serious effort when they made it). i'm not a big fan of the constant remakes, especially because they seem to suck more often than not...

Its got to be good. The old one was great, but that was a long time ago. It looks like they've paid homage to it with the scale of things but made the monsters more real. I for one am looking forward to it.

Well I have to say it looks better than the A-Team remake.
I remember Medusa scaring the crap out of me as a little kid and asking my dad why we didn't turn to stone by looking at her through the TV.

Its not the scale or the monsters, it was the "feel" of the first movie version that made it memorable.
