would appreciate your thoughts/comments on this mark so far. they're all still very rough and i haven't finalized the typefaces, but it's enough to get the gist. there isn't much variety in this set as i've already discarded what feels to be about 5 million other options. oh, and i haven't even started down the route of playing with colors...
3a, 3b, and 4a are just variations to show how 3 and 4 could be used in different applications. ultimately, the final mark probably will be used with some combination of flourishes and additional decorative type.
thanks!

I quite like where 3b is going
What's it for?

I actually like the last one. It would be a pretty huge contrast if you got that letterpress printed, being an online/digital company.

3b or 4a without the "and other fine interactive products"
like the style

4th one

I like 3 best, has this alpha, omega, infinity thing in it and yet it's c&co.
then I like 4a , this bizarre feeling of freshness produced by at first seeing the old style typesetting and then getting the information that it's about a contemporary craft.

lol, fair enough janne. i've gone through plenty of iterations, most a lot more "creative" than these, but i started moving towards something very simple that doesn't force the feeling of curiosity down your throat (which is what some of the others did).
i was planning on things more interesting during the printing process (letterpress with metallic ink and embossing), then do something pretty zany (is that a word?) with the website.
is it back to the drawing board?
by the way, i'm mostly concerned with the mark itself. ultimately, the logo will--at some point--be paired with similar typesetting to 4a. currently though, the supplementary type and decor isn't final or polished, it's just to give an idea of how it might look in that context.
thanks so far!

The & thing (3) is cool, but your going to have to re-think the highlights on the forms. You don't even have it small and the detail is already lost.
I think 2 is my favorite because I liked how the question mark i plays with the rhythm of the letterforms.
- glad you caught the question mark, thought it might be overlooked.gabe

I like 3b and 4. On 4a, you're trying too hard.

3b, with out a doubt!

3b is pretty but needs work on the ampersand/c...
- tparsons0
Looking really good...
The "CO &" stack could use some work the weight of the CO doesn't flow as good as it could with a little thicker lines.

the 'co' mixing into the ampersand looks junky. 2 is my fav

4 is nice

~Gabe..which one do you prefer?
- gabe0
well, i like the modern and playful feel from #2 (and it was the first direction i went, and the only one from the initial rounds that i've held onto.
i prefer #4 as i think it best suits the personality of the brand and i like it's simplicity. i also like the fact that it can stand alone without the type. my only concern is that it feels a little "stiff", though maybe i can counter that feeling with the use of color...
