i smoke a load of weed... will this keep me safe?
- sigg0
no.
this years shot is for last years virus. it will not protect you from the new strain of the flu bug, it will only protect you from last years bug. so while you're thinking you're in the clear WHAM you get the new flu virus and you're thinking 'fuck i shelled out 100 bucks for a flu virus and here i am puking my guts out into a toilet'
no thanks.

i'm glad so many people think they know something

I'll probably get it. I've had a standard flu shot most years for 30 years. I'm asthmatic, and I've had flu about two times as a kid and it nearly killed me.
What I know about flu is, most of you who *think* you've had it, haven't. It knocks you sideways. This isn't something you get up and go to work with.

Anyway this anti vaccine shit is sheer paranoia. The situation of in some London boroughs is ridiculous. Out-breaks of TB, Mumps and rubella - THIRD WORLD diseases all because immigrants think they know better than to get a free set of shots for them and their kids. Americans feature on this list too.
My 4 month old nephew had to have his BCG jabs 16 years before the rest of the country because you people think you're qualified doctors.

I pray to God that Alex Jones get's it and dies.

I read the WHO have announced that there's now a new strain which goes STRAIGHT TO YOUR LUNGS!!!!
Something to whip up the hysteria a bit more.
Also, if you smoke or have smoked you stand more chance of getting a lung infection.

Here is the rationale i can't understand, why vaccinations would be mandatory? Let's say you decided to get vaccinated, however your classmate didn't and then caught the flu.. Why would you care if he had the flu since you were vaccinated? ..

http://www.healthy.net/scr/artic…Lets consider the profit motive behind "rushing" vaccines to the market? There is literally tons of evidence of pharmaceutical companies selling drugs that were untested or even failed testing. We are consumers, and corporations work for profit - your dollar is more important than your health, and your health is only a concern for recurring revenue. Even if there was no individual or corporation that is profiting from this crisis, it sure falls into a negative pattern of modern day - which is: Crisis-->Solution. Then Trust the Government/Leaders/Emergency Powers/Media/Vaccines (without any republic/public representation).. Pure crisis mode. They feed us this shit when they actually create the crisis (like terrorism). Its all garbage blown incredibly out of proportion in a costly, massive, public scam. Likings of what you'll read in the Rolling Stone Goldman Sach's article.. There is no limit to the scale of fraud which can occur in modern day. (Wars, Bailouts, etc..)
We are divided on fear. Or maybe trust?
Blind trust in corporations, governments, and media makes us complacent, naive and arguably ignorant, leaving only submission or compromise. To Assume makes an Ass out of U and MeLike Bob Marley said:

Why is it as soon as someone says they don't want the flu vaccine people start shouting how vaccines have eradicated this and that. We know that. Just because someone is sceptical of the H1N1 vaccine doesn't mean they're against all vaccines. It's just important to really educate yourself. The real issue is the number of vaccines they have now, how they combine them (the MMR vaccine seems to be a focus of problems) and what other ingredients and preservatives are in the vaccine, mercury being one of the major concerns.
An example I have is chicken pox. Does that really need to be vaccinated against? I am not sure when they started doing that, but I had it as a kid... no big deal.
- people in this thread were pointing out failures of particular vaccines from the past and using them to make their point.DrBombay
- their point.DrBombay
- And some of them said ALL vaccines are toxic etc.Mimio
- chicken pox can cause serious health issues with some kids, why not get rid of it if you can.spifflink

No way. Never had a vaccine, never will.
And yes, I had chicken pox, agreed, no big deal.
The motivation for developing things is just too questionable. Just too many things to question that I would never do because I was afraid of something.
- Never had a vaccine? Not even as a kid? Polio, measles etcETM

usually get one, free at work every year - the last year i didn't get a flu shot i got the flu on Christmas day. Fantastic way not to see your family. Of course it was coincidence, but when i was about 6 I had the chicken pox on Chirstmas day too, so that's just not my day.

Let us all pray that this pandemic flu does not spread like wildfire in the coming months... The CDC is expecting at least 200,000 Americans will die this year from the H1N1 VIRUS.

So most current numbers say:
USA
Cases: 71778 Deaths: 517That's a mortality rate of 0.007%
