the absolute funniest thing happened while i was playing last night.
i'm in the pre-game lobby waiting for the match to start and no one is talking. two more players pop in with the same callsign and they start talking to one another. it's a young boy and girl, and they're totally flirting. "bobby told me you have a huge crush on me... i think you're totally hot... blah blah" and everyone is silent. we get into the game and it starts to heat up between the two as they're talking back and forth to one another. "what are you wearing... i totally wanted to make out with you the other day..." it's getting rather hot and i'm a little weirded out because the girl sounds like she's 16.
so the game finishes and we're all back into the pre-game lobby. all of a sudden the girl goes "just so you know, i'm totally going to do you when you get your braces off." and damn near everyone with a headset burst into laughter. she starts yelling at the boy going "OMG i'm on speaker at your house?!?" and we all started laughing even louder. they both left the lobby asap.
i'm guessing they thought they were in a private party chat when in fact they were in game chat.
ah to be young again...

Since downloading the Stimulus map package this game has gotten ridiculously hard to play online. I can't be imagining it, going overnight from 2:1 kill/death ratios to 1:4 on average. Fucking irritating the shit out of me! I'm seriously considering getting rid of it.

@5timuli Aye, I think the big boys are back out to play since the new maps came out. My KDR has taking a right old shafting since monday, should settle down again though, hopefully soon.

Three things I don't like:
1. Kids who shoot you with the grenade launcher from 10 yards when they could easily fire a magazine into your back
2. Akimbo Ranger shotguns combined with Lightweight Pro
3. Ghillie-suited campers hiding out in the corners of maps with a Barret .50 cal.

the only thing i don't like about the grenade launcher is when people run around with it. i don't mind it when used appropriately. like when the dude in the ghillie suit is chillin in the corner of a room, launch a nade in there and blow him out of that corner.akimbo rangers don't really bother me. it's the same as any other shotgun. if they get too close your screwed either way.
i don't mind the ghillie suited campers so much either. they usually don't move after getting a kill. they're just free kills later. then the dumb asses go back to the same spots over and over making them easy targets.

^ the new salvage map is an absolute bloodbath of a map. i'll have to agree that after the new map pack it's insanely more difficult. people were freaking out at how quickly they were dying so they started camping out in the doorways of the rooms where everyone would respawn and no one could get out. grenades were lobbed in and mass quantities of noobs were killed.
i agree with themagicsheep. i don't mind the suited campers either. they'll usually kill me twice from the same spot, then i'll switch over to my silenced p90 with marathon pro, cold-blooded and ninja and get a few easy kills off them when they keep coming back to the same spot.
the guys who only use the grenade launchers really piss me off.

All I've been playing for the past week is Hardcore TDM. I went back to play normal TDM, I couldn't stand it.
So when are the new maps going to be available for ps3?

I love Hardcore, but sometimes i just want a big 18 player big battle that i can sit there and blast away the idiots running around like a chicken with their heads cut off.

No disk read error. my box is out of commission ever since the day i logged in to dl the new mw2 map pack. i think its BS! even my games i've downloaded to the hard drive wont work without the disk! all i got is mass effect which i bought over xbl.

rust is usually a pretty fast map. but, last night i made it one of the quickest i've ever seen.
i started in that northwest corner and got 4 quick kills right off the bat. then got 2 guys trying to knife each other and another turning a corner for a triple kill to give me the 7 for a harrier. the bombs it dropped gave me 2 more kills and my stealth bomber. the stealth got me another triple kill and the chopper gunner. i still hadn't even gotten to leave that corner yet so i started up the suitcase thing in that small space between those tanks. it was like shooting fish in a barrel, i got 18 kills to end the game. the whole round only lasted about 2 minutes and the dude in second place only had 6 kills.

when i have some free time and i play early saturday and/or sunday mornings i kick hella ass. i'm up in high 20s kills, sometimes breaking into 30 territory.
i play late night during the week and all the 5th and up prestige dudes come out and it turns into a bloodbath. some guy the other night had the .50 cal with a thermal scope AND heartbeat sensor. he was camping in the domination matches in the far back corners of the maps laying waste to everyone. total bs.
