MOH single player is using the unreal engine, which looks amazing form what I have seen. The multiplayer is using the Frostbite engine, which powers Bad Company. Personally, I did not like BC multiplayer, it looked and played terrible. I am getting this title mostly for the single player. I was part of the beta and played it once. It was choppy and controls were shit. Not sure how much they can improve between beta and launch, but i shall give my 2Cents soon....

Overall, MOH is a decent game. Graphics are pretty cool and its a fun change of pace from MW2. However, as Armando has stated above the multiplayer leaves a little bit to be desired. The single player game is pretty cool though, so I'm going to at least be stuck playing that for a bit.
The reason I am not fond of multiplayer (after just one day) is that you can't see the enemy and I can't tell what the hell I'm shooting at. Just when I think I'm getting the hang of it, I rattle off about 15 consecutive deaths.
Graphics are good, but not any better than Call of Duty. The play is still a bit clunky and not near as smooth as MW2.
For now I'll have fun with it on and off until Black Ops comes out. I'd save yourself $60 and go rent it to see if you like it.

anyone using claymores in COD MW2?
every time i get killed by one i want to stab the world in the face, it encourages camping. most frustrating thing ever. I tried one game with them and its sooo easy to get kills, got 52 -10 on my first attempt at claymores.
I hate painkiler, i hate last stand, i hate grenade launchers. i hate claymores.
Cant wait for Call of duty - Black ops. Dedicated servers!! meaning hackers get banned, games get customs sets (no grenade launchers, last stand etc).

claymores are annoying as hell, I only use stickies. you can usually tell where claymores are gonna be planted, tent pitchers get pretty predictable. I usually chuck a flash or stun and disable them, or stick on marathon - just run right through em'.

anybody else not care about black ops because it's not IW? It's going to be another crap in-between game like world at war was. Execpt this time IW is blown up and gone (basically).

Another review: After playing the game a bit longer and removing myself from the MW2 mind set, I think EA did a great job on providing a truly realistic war game.
Do I like the online multiplayer better than MW2? No, but these games are so different. EA gave you a game where you really truly have to use some war tactics. The one thing on the multiplayer that I cannot stand, is that you cannot go prone or lay flat on your stomach, EVER. In the story mode you can though, so its a bit odd.
I still stand by the renting the game first and see if you like it. I think if you give it a chance and try not to compare too much, you'll start to enjoy the game a bit more.

i love claymores but i'm really hating this game as of late. i had a 34-4 run a few days ago and i couldn't believe how fun the game is when you actually are... winning. going 15-24 on a regular basis fucking blows after a while, and the past two nights i've played it's been a noob tube camper nightmare.
all it takes is one guy who kills with a noob tube and they all start coming out to show each other up. last night in scrapyard 3 guys were playing with one man army and they literally had 10 claymores, a tactical insertion each all holed up in the building by flag "a". i could see everything because i was playing with sitrep at the time. no one got even close to the building so i countered with a sniper rifle in the building across the map. not only did they have the grenade launchers on their guns, but their secondary weapons were the thumpers... for every single one of their classes.
i was so made i almost threw my controller through the tv.
what i've been doing lately is plant a claymore by a tactical insertion and wait for the fucker to respawn and get his shit blown up.

I just bought a PS3 (first game system I've owned since the NES) so I could watch Bluray and play MW2 online. Now the online play is hacked! I know it's an old game, but I just got it a month ago and frankly I'd like my money back. The campaign was fantastic, but really I bought the game for online play and it's not as much fun knowing I'm losing to cheaters.

that intro already shows suckage from the new devs.. MW3 is not made by IW.. it's made by 3 different companies.. I have no idea how they can organize and not make this suck balls..
Btw, it all doesn't matter.. I'll be playing Battlefield 3 before I buy another Call of Duty.
