Don't make it obvious, and you're golden.
I personally do not stare at anyone. If I have an urge to look, the person in question will not notice 99% of the time.

If a girl is walking by wearing a fancy sundress, jewelry and makeup, ill stare. Who cares. Why would she spend an hour getting ready if not to have males appreciate their beauty?
- her beauty. as long as im not ogling her cleavage i bet its appreciated.baseline_shift
- For herself?
(not a joke post)juhls - I get what you're saying, but having self-control is a good thing at times.juhls
- Anyway, it's a fine line, so I don't blame people if they don't know when it's not creepy.juhls
- < too many double negatives, hahajuhls
- why do girls want to feel pretty? beauty, by definition, needs a viewer. its based on perception.baseline_shift
- i have a tough time believing a girl in a slinky bright yellow sun dress doesnt want to be admired.baseline_shift
- a girls innate need to feel pretty is based on ingrained tribal behavior. Best groomed, most fit women got the best matesbaseline_shift
- Yes, but not everyone cares if someone else notices. Many women do exactly what you are saying, but it doesn't meanjuhls
- that staring = appreciating beauty.juhls
- Maybe that's what you are doing, but it can be creepy depending on the situation.juhls
- Honestly, just speaking for myself, I can dress both ways, and it's more about being comfortable.juhls
- i have a tough time separating dressing beautifully and wanting to be percieved as beautiful. Comes from the same place.baseline_shift
- but yes, there are def creepy guys who just ogle. im talking about the non creepy type of appreciation.baseline_shift
- It's fine, as I said above, if you do it but don't make it too obvious. Just comes off in a strange way sometimes.juhls
- I completely agree with your opinion about cleavage though.juhls

I was caught once staring at a cleavage .

guys should learn to hide staring especially if at work! Cleavage staring is uncomfortable. Control yourself.
- this is gonna make me sound like a perv, which im not. But why would women wear clothes that exposed cleavage, if the dont want people looking?baseline_shift
- if they dont want people looking?baseline_shift
- cleavage is not necessarily showing. The boobs are behind the clothes but the guy is staring.redant

^^^^^ No, no, no missy! You know damn well what you are wearing and why you put on that low cut shirt. It's to show your goods, that is the only function of those types of garments. You put them out there, I am gonna look.

cleavage is not necessarily showing. The boobs are behind the clothes but the guy is staring.
- if i guy does that i feel he hasnt learned to hide it. He is not mature.redant
- you know what you are putting on, and how much is showing. Not to say that there arent pervs who are gonna look anyhow.baseline_shift

Girls want to feel pretty for the same reason for the same reason guys want to feel rich and influential. Deeply ingrained biological behavior aimed at getting mates.
- I wish sniffing butts was socially acceptable.********

I am too immersed with myself that I rarely notice others, let alone stare at them. Okay, that is pretty much like 75% true, haha.
In terms of like “unfortunate people” ... I do not stare. But I make under the breath comments to those around me, so that they laugh inappropriately, or get real red, haha. Basically, I continue to utilize the decibel level needed at the dinner table as a child to make comments that only my brother or sister could hear, but not people (mother, unfortunate person [or if they are one and the same]).
The other day I was walking with a pal, and I saw a retarded person standing in front of a store being all ... well retarded. Looking like a mongoloid, drooling, staring at nothing, seemingly dressed by a blind giant ... so I go without making eye contact, or acknowledgment that would raise suspicion between the broad I was walking with, and say through the side of my mouth, “I feel like how that dude looks.”
The immediate reaction I got was exactly what I was going for.
- Anticipation to scan the crowd.
- A facial expression when one and one equates in their brain.
- A muffled, “Jesus Fuck, what is the matter with you?”Also, “unfortunate people” relates to anyone who isn’t me. It could be a girl with weird makeup, a dude with an Ed Hardy shirt on ... the vocal reactions are different that I get back, but basically I am pretty much making fun of everyone all the time.

I just had this fight with my girlfriend. Everyone stares, it's a fact of life. When we see someone we are attracted to, we can't help ourselves.

staring is caring
