When in Guanajuato, please go to the Market, it was designed by Eiffel, its amazing, eat carnitas and go to see the mummies, Queretaro is fun too, San Miguel is not that cool way to many gringos, you will have a blast good LUCK!

Hi everyone, just an update I've been in San Luis Potosi for the last 2 days, I've eaten worms, crickets, and ant eggs, they are OK. The food is great and bars are OK. Im documenting everything I eat by taking some close up shots, I will be posting them once I get back. I will be heading to Mexico City Tomorrow (DF) I will visit some local markets. I'll keep you guys posted.

Nice hektor911! My wife and I will be driving from California to Guatemala mid-September, er, obviously thru Mexico ;-) Where on the border does your family live? Have you taken any free roads or are you sticking to the tolls?
We're planning on crossing at Nogales and staying with different friends all the way down. I'm still mapping out our exact route. Anyway good luck and post those pix!
- try to take as many toll roads as you can, unless you must detour to visit certain small towns. trust me.sea_sea

hey hektor :) i've been in Guadalajara for 3 weeks now, loving every second of it. there's some awesome spots over here too. i hear you about the phenomenal food!
