flash is awesome for your sales team to update in their hotel room, the night before a presentation. //

once they start screwing with it, it's more or less fucked
- then they call you and ask you to fix it! "why can't I add more info" -> "why is it so busy looking?!?"vaxorcist

I like how sales/marketing people actually think people read or pay attention to their powerpoints
- monNom0
if they did it right, people would.
look at Al Gore, he won a Nobel prize for giving a powerpoint that didn't suck

I remember working at a dotcom as a 3d artist. they laid off the graphic artist and I was the closest thing they had to a designer. I had to do all of their powerpoints. It sucked extra hard because all of the sales/executives were from fashion companies, so they were pretty much as clueless as one can get. Haven't touched it since.

Design in Photoshop and Indesign_
Place in flat jpgs so they cannot make last min changes. This method also allows you to use proper type and their treatments without ridiculous constraints.
- Photoshop Graphics > InDesign > PDF > Droplet > JPGjteore
