What a fuckwit...he's so far up himself and so full of his own self importance it's a joke. The guy is a fucking actor, not the King FFS.
- BusterBoy0
And as for the “Would you say that to Tom Petty?” bullshit...fuck me. Musically, he has about as much in common with Tom Petty's as I do with Queen Elizabeth.
And you can bet your life if Tom Petty started acting, people would ask him about his music.
Fuckwit.

fucking canadians, embarassing our actors!!

This whole interview went south from the word go. Look and his bandmates faces as they are being introduced. They knew it was going to go badly after that intro.
I do see his point even though he seems like a whiner. But he gets hit with this everyday and I can see how he wants the 2 separated. But unfortunately he can't have it that way.
I think the DJ handled it fairly well. Do you think the DJ knew about his policy? Do you think the producer told him? Because if he didn't, I would have stood up for myself and called him out.

Fucking Hilarious, well done Billy

Tom Petty is a better actor. I love him as Lucky on King of the Hill

What about that millionaire with the drumsticks in his pants?
He looked so baffled and so bewildered
When he played and we didn't dance.-Dylan

@ morilla
Jian (radio show host, not a DJ) is a class act. I'd recommend his daily arts and culture show to anyone.
Probably the best thing to come out of all of this is the media attention for his show on CBC, and not so much the Boxmasters.

faux. " Hey look at me I am a cool rocker "
Not original. Copy cat of Joaquin. Dud. Fail.
Better luck next time.
- DrBombay0
He has obviously succeeded in getting the sheep to talk about him.

Jian didn't focus on BB's movie career at all. It was mentioned for context in the introduction and then he talked only about the band and the music. It was dickwad BB who brought it all back to him by acting like a tool.

totally fake. him and phoenix are collaborating. you'll see.

fake
- KwesiJ0
I find it sort of obvious it was staged for publicity
- sure BB acted this way for publicity, but "staged" suggests the radio show was involved. absolutely not.horton
- oh hah wait... staged was my choice of words in above reply. whoops :Phorton
- fake as in BB acting this way for negative publicity, yes of course.horton
- i have a feeling Giam and the band were aware he was going to ACT this wayKwesiJ
- morilla0
there is no way this was staged. I mentioned it in the other thread that has has acted like this before when the same situation has arisen.
I was listening to to my daily sports talk station in the car a couple weeks ago and they had him on. They talked sports and the band. At the very beginning of the interview BB made it clear he did not want to hear the "A" word. The hosts kind of laughed and BB said it again in a very stern tone and said he wasn't f-in joking.

so you mention you don't want acting to be mentioned a thousand times and expect people not to mention it then make a public scene over someone bringing it up in context...yeah ... famous people are little too aware of what they say and do in the media, seems likley this was his angle and then he set up a little confrontation on a safe program out of the way in a super media savvy nation. it was destined to go viral and it doesn't help that several celebrities have all had their little public 'break down' within the last 2 months, its the new thing. shits staged.

i would of said, interview is over, PEACE
- SteveJobs0
whether or not the radio show was in on it or not, i don't know. but i wouldn't doubt bbt gave them a heads up before they went on air that he was going to give his best phoenix impersonation.
and they wouldn't care, it's just better ratings for them.
