i just blame it on shitty programs that don't help me make shit look good, or computers being too slow, or not wanting to do this shit anymore.
let's say I was rendering something in Cinema4D and it came out kinda cheesy and it took a week to get the render just right. Then Maxwell Render comes along and the first render looks better than a week of using Cinema4D.
Same idea could be applied to illustrator, photoshop, indesign etc.. Without those programs far more people would suck, so no reason to take full responsibility.
