Isn't one of the fundamentals of being punk...anarchy and nihilism? How can you be punk if you are in an organized group that assembles, rehearses, is signed under a corporation to preach to young hipsters for money? Seems kind of hypocritical to me. I'm embarrassed I immersed myself into that gay scene. I feel differently about hardcore.
