Anyone who thinks twitter is lame must think facebook is lame, myspace is lame, blogs are lame, commenting on blogs is lame, etc. Because I really don't see what the difference is between any of these things.

twitter is jsut facebook minus apps and photos.
twitter potentially can make or break a brand.... if a celeb slates something then thousands of sheep will follow. and bang down goes woolworths again.

The way I see it is that Twitter is whatever you want it to be. If you want to follow your friends who post about farting, then it is about farting. If you are a lawyer and want to follow blog posts of fellow lawyers, court cases, governmental press releases, you can do that too. It is entirley what you make it. It is all about content.

Well, anything is what you make it, so what you're saying there really doesn't mean a thing.
I mean, you know, sex is what you make it, lunch is what you make it, your family is what you make it, so what you make it comments don't provide insight.

@ all the folks saying they don't get it...
pretty much 50-75% of the crap threads started in PVN would be more appropriate tweets.
ie.
