I actually connect with a lot of great people on Twitter. The recent celebrity blowup is quite dissapointing actually. Once it's on the news, it's doomed for failure *cough* myspace, facebook *cough*
So... if you're not on already and marketed yourself, good luck doing it now without being a CELEB.

How come nobody posts stuff like "I just had a great fucking orgasm with a shoe salesman" or "Holy Cow! My dog just laid an honest-to-God EGG!"
It's all stuff like, "just got to work" or "that coffee needed more sugar."
Where's the people tweeting outrageous shit and trying to impress people?

Actually Twitter is like one big focus group. You learn about what everyone is "buzzing" about on the internet. Plus, if you follow the right people, they post good links. Twitter is like the new RSS reader.. lol

Twitter is either an example of amazing PR work, or that we as a society have really, finally and truly run out of good ideas and must now resort to hyping the lousy ones.
(Wolfram Alpha sounds awesome so I think it's the former)
