Nothing like buying a hamburger from a hosting company.
- No idea what that means, but totally hilarious.mg33
- The logo reminds me of that of a hosting company.adamrobertson

Jack In The Box is one of the three fast food places I miss incredibly living in Chicago. In Texas we have Jack In The Box, Whataburger, and Sonic. I usually load up on food from there when I'm in town.

I dig it, but the "jack in the box" typography on it's own is bothering me.

I'm still not a bit fan of the logo; the collateral looks good though.
That being said I do appreciate them putting an outline of Jacks head and hat in the k, it almost makes it understandable on why they would wrap the end of the name around the box.

I think the new colors are great.
I would have turned the box slightly so it's more face-on on the Jac side, and actually - and I would have wrestled with this the whole time I was doing the project, I would have put a top on the J.... then taken it off. I always think a swooshy top (a bar ?) on top of a J can be awesomely characterful and value-packed, but I guess thats just from an appreciation of graf; there was a writer 'Junk' in our hood, back in the late 80's who was just a master of J's... inspired me to this day :)- christ, that was awfully rambling and inconsequetial. Sound like a speed freak.mikotondria3

The original logo has a funky feel to it that was in style decades ago, felt dated for a generation, and now has the potential to be updated today. Current trends toward "retro" type styles would have pushed me to update the existing mark instead of starting from scratch. I hate to say it, but when the signage is up on the storefront, it's now forgettable. The old mark had serious equity.

feels like this:
Jack
in the box
- ok, but with more space between the jack and in the boxtymeframe
- totallymonospaced

I have an opinion too. Here it is.

I quite like both but I don't think they needed a new logo, the old one looked modern enough in a retro sort of way. it doesnt say fast food to me though.
- I agreemonospaced
- "it doesn't say fast food to me"
mission accomplished then!Meeklo
