nda is to protect the intellectual rights of the service.. it's their business if they post it in their url. I am only doing the logo for now

Um, an NDA, but then you give the name of the company, which can easily be typed into your address bar, or Googled?
Interesting theory, Batman.

well there you go

I don't refuse, it's a non-disclosure agreement..

i think rather than concentrating on force, naming could give you a lot more options to play with. labeling, telling a story, categorizing, describing etc...
but as you refuse to tell us what this is about.. what do you want to hear from us? we think it's a pretty shape that you have created? which by the way i don't. the f makes it unbalanced.

If you wanna have a strong logo... like HEY HERE IS THE NAMING FORCE... whatever..
why not just a strong massive font? maybe something condenesd in upper case... like champion knockout etc....
- digdre0
how about you try thinking the other way,
force -> gravity -> newton -> N -> anti gravity -> blabla
- digdre0
try going:
Force -> Newton

I miss some finesse. the idea of the sign is to obvious.
its like ehmm my name is birdydesign and I place a wing above my logo.

anyway, as in the other thread, with no context, you can't really expect a useful crit.

I think you can get sued and/or killed by the military for using insignia in a non-military manner but what do I know.
Only thing I can offer is that the TM should always go at the end of the logo or word. It looks way too out of place between the C and E

i like the shorter logo (3rd round, 1st colum, 1st row) or the one monospaced pointed out (3,2,4th row) in the blue box... the font i'm still undecided, depends what naming force is i guess?
- digdre0
i think his reason is 'force' -> army -> gradation sign
- digdre0
moa means, just keep your type.
remove the other stuff.
and, maybe.. remove the space between 2 words!!

why not make a flat (non bevel/web 2.0), stylized version of that chevron patch?

On 2nd thought, the NF are a bit too tall, and that makes it hard to read them both clearly. I think the shadow work on the very very bottom right one is the strongest in terms of creating legibility, but the aforementioned font selection is the best match.
IMO, I don't think it looks too N64, OR NeuArmy. N64 sucked balls anyways, and anyone who says it looks too NeuArmy should probably smoke some weed and expand their horizons a little.
