Oh, and where drones or UAVs are concerned, I'd leap at the opportunity - that shit's just COOL.

A lot of my fashion experience has been unethical. It's sad how they target late teensters and everyone else.

any job within the US Gov.

Bus Driver.
You wouldnt think this would be a Job that would violate ethics but a few weeks ago there was some christian bus driver who refused to drive a bus with a advert down the side that questioned the existance of god - an advert by the humanitarians.

My last company worked for some pretty fucked-up institutions. Oil companies, mining companies, catholic charities.
The catholic "charities" were the worst. We'd do the annual reports, and these fuckers paid more in dividends in 1 year than they ever paid to the "subjects" of their charities.

Same here moth, mining company and they wanted it choc full of images of how they were helping the locals become educated all the while raping the land.
also worked on pitches for oil companies, food producers etc. Basically any job involving big business can leave a sour taste.
I think I'd draw the line at tobacco/nestlé. Im not sure I'd happily work on those.

Fuckit, I'd work on Big Tobacco.
Dollar for dollar, that industry does the most for healthcare, does the most for population control, does the most to energise the economy. In this day and age, if you don't know that shit's harmful, I'd rather you were dead anyway.

worked for the G8 before. To be honest I'm surprisingly more capitalistic and globalist about these things than you might think. Still a wee twinge though.
Then I saw some crusties protesting on the tele and I lit a fat cigar and bought some golf clubs. Smelly whinging student areseholes.

designers and advertisers

most advertising is against ethics, sir
we're brainwashing people into thinking they need shit they don't
making them hate themselves for not having it
making people define who they are by what they have
if you're worried about morality you better find a job somewhere else...
- you really think people are affected like that? lighten up, it's really not that bad.ribit

can you get paid to touch-up kids? i mean apart from the obvious catholic priesthood pathway?
- DrBombay0
what are ethics, Im trying to feed these damn kids!
- NotByHand0
If something or someone is not being violated, I'm generally not interested.
- airey0
i guess the divisionary line would be what ethics you operate with. safe to say that there are many shared ethics across the worlds current races but there's always one's that aren't shared.
running a factory that works kids from the age of 5 to the bone making cheap shoes for an overseas nation might seem a little unethical to us in more affluent countries. although we still wear the shoes (read: nike, addidas etc) so at what point to you make the ethical call?
personally i'd be more than happy to run a brothel of addicted and financially indentured russian 'escorts' if anyone wants to front the cash and act as an 'ethically sound' silent partner?
- DrBombay0
Good point, airey. People talk about ethics but would jump at the chance to work for a major shoe manufacturer. I have always had an affinity for adidas track jackets even though I should be wearing burlap sacks if I was buying for ethical reasons. It is my chav-ish american way and has been for over 20 years.

would being a fluffer on a kiddie-pron movie set be ethically unsound?
