Jobs that violate ethics

Watched this story on military drones (robots)... I don't think I could ever do a job like that, or write the software program that would be used for war.
Then again... a lot of software could be used for good or bad purposes, so it's difficult to argue that software engineers would be the primary cause of such problems. And the robots are already in use, so one could argue that we need people with some degree of ethics operating this equipment.
I'm not sure there are equivalent jobs in design that violate this sort of ethic. Any of you been offered any jobs that violate you wouldn't accept?
One time I interviewed for a job working on those spyware programs, and I hate those things, so I couldn't take it.

I have done work for companies whose environmental credentials/position were questionable. I have been asked to present the work in such a way as to have them appear “green”, whether by omission of facts or using colours and images which support this idea.

Let's be honest, there's a lot of marketing/design jobs that lack ethics.

Several of my college classmates opposed working at Leo Burnett in Chicago because their primary account was Phillip/Morris aka Marlboro... Selling "death sticks" simplify didn't fly with their morals and I don't blame them, however, they offered great creative opportunities and creative career builders that many couldn't refuse. I still haven't read my copy of "how to be a graphic designer without selling your soul"...

I was almost able to do a job for a Nigerian company that manufactures gunboats. I deliberated on whether I should or shouldn't, then decided I'd be ok with it. As it turns out, the option fell through, but I'd made my decision.
Alternately, if I had no scruples, I'd be a very rich young man right now, as there was something I didn't want to get involved in, but could've easily. It involved misleading people and .. well, fundamentally, lying. It involved playing reckless with other people's health, whilst at the same time putting me in the spotlight of some very powerful government agencies. Er.. this probably sounds like bullshit, but it isn't quite so dramatic. I didn't. Sometimes I still regret this (when I think of the money), but mostly I think I went ok - I'm not that desperate to be rich.
Where war is concerned, I guess I couldn't give a fuck - we're humans, we war - it's a truth.
Where lying is concerned... meh. That jacket doesn't fit so well.
