i am 60% done...i changed it 3 times last night then realized it didnt look busy enough and i had a lot of negative space that could be used better...i dont want to rush it...

oh i have question regarding "place" of images instead of copy paste.
if i place do i have to also submit the original artwork with the zipped file?? to me that ridiculous, as copy paste embed the art in the document...someone please answer this riddle for me...

Ok, a question for anyone involved in putting the book together.
I can't see it mentioned in the guidelines.
If we want to show elements that are vector (such as logos or type designs). Is it ok to place eps files from illustrator in our layouts. since it seems like it will yield a better print quality for small details etc, than making a 300dpi image of said vectors.Apologies if this has already been covered, but I didn't want to have to sift through all 16 pages of this thread.

Sorry for not having answered you sooner on this. It would be great if everyone on the back-up list could have their submissions ready by the 15th (or 16th, really) - so that when we know how many we need to add from the list, there isn't a delay in receiving these entries.

For eddie, when you're ready, go to file > package. it'll grab a copy of all the images, fonts etc and place them in a folder alongside the indesign file. Zip that bad boy up and send it on to the poor sods that are putting this together.

The book is for charity right? Its not a huge cost, anyway Im waiting till my birthday fro someone to buy it for me, its in October so get saving!
