I agree with OSFA in that people should stop posting their submissions. The goal of the book is to raise as much money for Transfatty and if everyone posts the books content it kind of defeats the purpose. DGV as the publisher might also have a problem with this. Plus it will make everything a surprise. How good of a surprise remains to be seen.

Let me try to answer a couple questions that I've come across here, that may still be lingering:

Q: Will the participants get free a copy of the book?
A: We are doing the book with Die Gestalten in a way that keeps cost at an absolute minimum, to ensure as large of an amount of funds as possible are going to the Patrick O'Brien Foundation. This also means, that there unfortunately won't be any freebies. Your financial support in helping a beloved NT/QBN member will be highly appreciated, however.Q: How much will the book cost?
A: At the moment, the price is set at $50 - which will actually be set up to be a direct donation to the Patrick O'Brien Foundation. I can't guarantee, however, that this will indeed be the final price we land on, as we're still working through a lot of factors involved with this project (production, distribution, promotion... to name a few). But we are certainly operating with the plan of $50 being the final price.Q: When will the book be available?
A: Unfortunately we can't answer this at the moment. Again, a lot of factors are involved, and we're currently (with DGV) figuring out all the logistics. We obviously want to pull this together as fast as absolutely possible, as Patrick's condition is sadly worsening every day that goes by. We promise, as soon as we have any information regarding these dates, we will let you know.Q: How about bleeds in the layout?
A: Please include at least 1/8" of bleed on anything bleeding in your layout.Q: How do I send my entry? It's too big to email.
