Hollywood sign shaped Scientology Headquarters.

It would be great to photograph the shrubland behind the letters, get it printed out full size on vinyl, and then cover the letters in it hahahah

It's pretty lame it only says one thing...i'd convert the letters into squares with thousands of servo actuators, so you could not only spell Holywood or Hollywood, but thousands of other words...and you could have pictures or animations.

hold a springsteen concert there where he dazzles the audience doing acrobatic maneuvers from the letters ala circus of the stars.
use the proceeds to put 'LAND' back on the end.

^ That's what he wants (honestly). But the city was supposed to buy it (had agreed to), and have repeatedly failed to actually provide the required funds.
He doesn't NEED the money right now or anything, so he's not going to do anything 'stupid' or rushed with it.
But the property is, as I'm sure you can imagine, worth quite a bit of money, so he'll have to decide on what to do with it eventually.

According to this article the City of Los Angeles owns the land the sign stands on.

^ Rob, from my understanding , the parcel DOES include the land that the sign actually sits on. The article is almost a year old, and I believe lots of fencing and security has been put up around the area since (by the owner) to ensure people understand that this is indeed private land, and wandering around there is trespassing.
