why the fuck is the twitter logo on the bottom right of qbn so damn big? Its bigger than the qbn logo. All they need is a little mention of the qbn twitter somewhere. twitter should paying for that space

I used to hate twitter, now I have an account.
technically is set to repeat my facebook page, I open it on my phone once a month to retweet all the accumulated @ mentions to my account, that's pretty much it.- Let's say I still don't get itMiguex
- lol, i agree. It has its uses for getting news, but thats all i use it for. love louis ck!Hombre_Lobo

twitter is great if you are selective in who you follow. i have a overall technology handle and a skate one, so i don't mix up feeds.

I assumed I hated it but now I have an account I quite like it. I rarely tweet but it's a good way of picking up interesting links, it's full of funny / interesting people if you you look in the right place and it's relatively anonymous and unobtrusive if you want it to be. It's nice to have the ability to easily screen idiots. It's incredibly versatile considering it's simplicity - you can use it as marketing tool, a link store, a chat room, a covert stalking device, a soap box etc.

I held out on twitter for ages. I thought it was not entirely useful and that I didn't need another "social media" distraction in my life.
But I actually kind of like twitter. I never have time to formulate my thoughts into blog posts, so I try to tweet relevant work-related stuff every week. I also tweet irrelevant stuff too.
Since I never post anything to Facebook it's a good way to let my friends and clients know that I'm still alive.

over half of our new clients from last year found out about us thru the twitter. people can mock it all they like, but it's proved a great tool for us.

^ those are the types of responses I was thinking I would get. Seems like people start out as curmudgeons about a lot of this type of technology but end up using it. Some of them still don't want to, but have to for their job or to keep up with something. I know nearly every journalist has an account now (and their Twitter username is usually at the bottom of the screen when they're on TV).

I love twitter. I use it to rant, but more importantly it's a good bookmark list. If you have a list of people you are following that have useful content i.e design/fashion/sports you will almost always have something useful appear on your timeline.
I absolutely hate the people who beg celebrities for retweets though.
