I just saw the new "Mtn Dew" at store for the first time...
I'm not really a big fan of this one either. "Mtn" bothers me on a couple of levels; it feels very 'trying to be young' (ie typical internet anagram based lingo), and it also reminds me of the Spanish Montana (Mtn) spraycan brand (graff writers will know what I'm talking about)...
-- Why is it trendy to turn mountain into mtn. lol.
Iggyboo - Its just poor grammar
Iggyboo - wouldn't be the first time montana had their brand stolen. Try Montana spray paint in Germany for instance.********

- MP: Yeah, the whole Montana Germany thing is a topic on it's own (pretty good cans though)NotByHand
- I'm a Belton guy though.NotByHand

I'd like the video if I was viewing it 10 years ago maybe.

why is anyone buying that crap in the first place? Maybe Tropicana has a reputation for being good to drink, and they fucked that up too. Looks like it's not healthy.

Im sure it will stay with us after some time. We will see that just like the previous one. However, it will be hard to get use to it. It makes me grab a blue and red pen and just draw it correctly!

You guys sound like a bunch of lame old people pining for the old days. Jeesus christ, you're not even their target market anymore, get over it they've moved on to the new Jr. High kids.
- trying to appeal to people like me then, and it still looks shitAkiraprise

The icon is whatever... I dont hate or love it.
In a year it will be normal and nobody will care.I do like the typography and the simplistic design of everything else ( boxes, labels, etc)
If they would have kept their old logo with new typography and design style I think it would have looked nicer. maybe a small update on the logo...
just my 2¢

In my opinion, the refresh looks pretty good. Yes, I totally agree that the theory behind it and the ‘future timeline’ shit is all bollocks, but I think what Pepsi have done is give their identity a bold and original facelift that manages to really set them apart in terms of packaging design from their competitors. I reckon the minimalistic graphics on the cans make them instantly recognisable.- You'll have to scroll left 1 to see the pic I mean!!zombee
