Hey Im just wondering if anyone knows how long wine should be bottled for before you should drink it? Is there a term for this cuz Im having no luck with google.

The longer you leave it, the better its supposed to taste but I never heard of a minimum time...

When storing wine lay it down on it's side so the cork doesn't dry out.

When wine is made there are estimates on a) when it's drinkable; b) when it's reached its optimum state; c) when it's no longer acceptable. Each wine is different. When a bottle hits the shelves of your local liquor stores it's somewhere between "a" and "c".
Personally, we always et bottles back for "special" celebrations. We just make sure we have a lot of "special" celebrations and the wine never goes bad. :D
